About Us
Hi,
I
am Anna Stewart author of Knit Easy, born in Scotland and now live
on the beautiful south coast of NSW, Australia.
Mother of
two beautiful daughters, who I have raised single
handedly for more than 14 years. I truly understand what it
is to balance work and family and how limited one’s time can
be, not to mention the day to day stresses of parents today.

"Remember
your Yesterdays. Dream your Tomorrows. But Live
your Todays"
Throughout
my corporate career I have been involved in many education and training
programmes including training of other staff, unemployed and
disadvantaged youth, adviser to the Young Achievers Program in Australia,
also developed many training manuals and tools to assist other advisors
and trainers. During my career also sent on numerous assignments
including time in New York and
Tokoyo.
Although
I have knitted for many years it has only been in recent years that I
have come to realise the therapeutic benefits of knitting. When working
on a project I find myself thinking – “just one
more row” then I will call it quits, this may go on for an
hour or so, by the time I put my knitting down I feel satisfied that I
have achieved something the best part is I usual feel physically,
mentally and emotionally tired and can have a good night’s
sleep – no sleeping pills for me.
I have many
interests camping, walking, cooking, I have always been keen
on sports including swimming, field hockey and my latest love golf,
don't ask me for a game as I am still learning, and need my tree iron
often
