Antler cable
Cast on multiples of 12 stitches plus 2
Rows 1, 5 & 7: *P2, K10* repeat between * to end of row and finish P2.
Row , 4, 6 & 8: *K2, P10* repeat between * to end of row and finish K2.
Row 3: *P2, as
if to purl slip the next 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold at the
back of the work, K the next 2 stitches, then K 2 stitches from the
cable needle K2 slip next 2 sts to cable needle and hold at thefront of
work K2, K2 from cable needle* repeat between * to end of row and
finish P2
Repeat these 8 rows for desired length.
For circular knitting cast on multiples of 12 stitches
Rounds 1 & 2: *P2 K10 * repeat to end of row.
Round 3 : *P2, as if to
purl, slip the next 2sts to cable needle and hold at back of work, K2,
K2 from cable needle, K2 slip next 2 sts to cable needle and hold at
front of work K2, K2 from cable needle* repeat to end of round.
Rounds 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8: same as round 1
Repeat these 8 rounds for desired length
