Paula's Knitting and Crochet National
Charity Project I accept
crocheted granny's daughter motifs, crocheted or knitted squares in any
size, and 7 x 9 crocheted or knitted rectangles. I then assemble these
items into afghans to donate to charities for children, such as Project
Linus. I am also a satellite group coordinator for Miracleshappen.us. I donate mainly
to charities that help children and babies. I accept crocheted,
knitted, and sewn baby items for distribution to crisis pregnancy
centers and maternity homes. Also a satellite group
co-ordinator for Headhuggers.org
we knit, crochet, and sew "chemo caps" for people who have lost their
hair due to chemotherapy, brain surgery, burn wounds, etc. Angels
for Hope crochet angels, butterflies and smiley faces and and are
available free of charge smiley faces for sick/cancer children. We
crochet for cancer, dying, hospice, depression, disease and caregivers.
Anyone in need of hope or a smile. Squares for Survivors - don't toss your test swatches they can be sewn together to make a blanket and keep someone warm Miracles Happen - this site is dedicated to all new mothers. Often many new mothers don't have support readily at hand or even prepared for their new Miracle, this site offers heaps of ideas and hope for all, jump in and help out. Headhuggers - This is a great site for everyone, why not learn to knit a nice soft, cute, funky hat for cancer patients and burn sufferers.
