seed stitch is a very simple but beautifully textured pattern.
Some European patterns may refer to this as the rice stitch.
Casting on even number
of stitches
Flat Knitting
Row 1:
*k1, p1: repeat from * to end of row
Row 2: *p1, k1 repeat from * to end of row
Repeat rows 1 & 2 for desired length.
Circular knitting
Round 1: *k1,p1 repeat from * to end of round
Round 2: *p1, k1 repeat from * to end of round
Repeat rows 1 & 2 for desired length.
